Infants need us to embrace their physical needs. Our promise is to help create a bond so they feel safe and form a secure attachment. Infants want to know, “Am I Safe?” Our promise is to establish trust by responding to their needs consistently and lovingly. We have established simple routines and calm transitions that infants and parents can trust as we help them to eat, sleep, play and repeat throughout the day. We introduce then to materials that engage all of their senses and provide opportunities for safe exploration. Infants learn best by seeing, smelling, touching, tasting, moving, mimicking, and doing. We help infants move and change positions as they grow by encouraging tummy time and reaching for objects that help develop muscles and coordination. Infant language development outpaces every other area, which is why we weave books, stories, songs, rhymes and talking into every part of the day.
